Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 350g Flour
- 50g Cacao powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1¼ tsp Baking Soda
- 200g Butter (softened)
- 150g Granulated Sugar
- 225g Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs (room temperature)
- 1½ tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.
- Combine the dry ingredients together and set aside. This will include the flour, cacao power, baking soda and salt.
- Beat the butter, both white granulated and brown sugars and the vanilla extract until fluffy.
- Add the eggs to the butter mixture and beat for about 15 seconds more.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry mixture in the first step. After it is well incorporated, add the chocolate chips into the mix.
- Another optional step would be to refrigerate for about 30-60 minutes.
- Bake for 325°F for 8-15 minutes.
Notes
- Reducing the sugar and butter to this recipe will make the cookies have a more cakey texture and consistency
- Granulated sugar: spread and crispy; Brown Sugar: soft and chewy
- For regular cookies, replace 50g of cacao powder to 50g of flour
