Ingredients
- 2.25 tsps Instant Yeast
- 1 cup Lukewarm Water
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 3.66 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.66 cup Plain Yogurt
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt, stirring to combine. Add the yogurt, instant yeast, water, and sugar to the bowl.
- Mix together until the mixture forms a soft shaggy dough. Knead for 10 minutes. Dough will be sticky so sprinkle flour on your hands as needed.
- After kneading, let dough rest for 5 minutes.
- Roll dough out to about 0.5 inch thick. Cut out circles with a 3 inch round cutter. Roll any excess and flatten again to cut out more muffins. Place completed muffins on a baking sheet with parchment.
- Cover with damp towel and let rise in warm place for about an hour. Should double in size roughly.
- Heat a pan over low-medium heat. Once hot add muffins in and cook for about 6 minutes on each side. Turn only once.
